Since 2002 the Buckland Volunteer Fire Department has hosted a Belt Sander Drag Race held during the Fireman's Festival.   This year changes have been made to the event to make the race more fair to contestants and also help our event to conform to the rules of other similar events across the nation.  The main changes are the classes and racing format.  The classes this year will be "Stock", "Modified" and "Best Decorated".   The racing format will be "Double Elimination".  Please click on the "Race Rules" link below for more details.   By clicking on the other links below you can see photo's of past events.

If racing is a little much but you would like to see an event unlike those you have probably seen before, please join us as a spectator.  Either way, your bound to have a great time.
