Weekly Children and Youth Ministries

Sundays:

Sunday School – (9:30-10:15am)

Sunday School is a time of teaching solid Bible truths, that help each of the kids to be what Jesus wants them to be. Sunday School includes music, Bible stories, and activities that help to apply God’s Word to our lives. We currently offer three different classes:

Preschoolers

Kindergarten – 6^th Graders

Junior High and High School Youth Group

Children’s Church (Ages 3 years – 6^th Grade)

Kids are dismissed from the morning worship service following the special music. This is a time of music, Bible stories, and games that teach the kids Bible based morals and lessons. On the first Sunday of the month the kids do a craft in Children’s Church which ties into one of their lessons.

Wednesdays:

B.L.A.S.T. – (6:30-8:00pm Ages 3 years – 6^th Grade)

B.L.A.S.T. stands for Believing, Learning And Studying Truth, and that is what we do. Classes are broken down into 3 years through Kindergarten and 1^st through 6^th grade. Every Wednesday there is Song time, Bible lesson, Snacks, Games, Crafts, Prizes and more. Kids are encouraged to put the lessons they are learning into practice in their own lives.

Fridays & Saturdays:

Fifth Quarter –Junior High & High School

5^th Quarter follows Boys Varsity Football home games and is a time that youth in Jr. High and High School can have a place to hang out. We have a pool table, video games, air hockey, foosball, ping-pong, free food and more. Fifth quarter is chaperoned by adults from the church and runs until 1:00am on Fridays and 12:00am on Saturdays.

Adult Sunday School classes are designed to be smaller groups that help strengthen and encourage each of us as we follow God’s plan for our life. We offer three classes for adults (where babies are also welcome):

Growing In Grace: This class, for any adult, is taught by Pastor Andrew in the classroom off of the sanctuary and is open to all those who would like to know more about the life of Christ. The class is currently looking at the book of Acts, seeing how the early Christians were challenged and how they lived out their new faith.

Young At Heart: This class open to any adult is taught by Tom Burnett in the fellowship hall. Please join in the study of famous women of the Old Testament.

Gleaners: This class is open to any adult, but is specifically targeted to seniors and meets in the sanctuary.

Morning Worship is an opportunity for us to get together and be encouraged as a whole congregation. We enjoy singing, a time of prayer, and Bible based preaching. .

This service includes a time of singing and prayer followed by a time of teaching from the Bible. This is a more relaxed time that helps encourage solid growth in our lives and is often followed by fellowship at Pastor Andrew’s home.

On the first Sunday of the month all are invited to someone’s home from within the church for a carry in supper and fellowship. Although some evenings have had themes, we generally just gather to enjoy each other’s company.

These groups meet monthly and are an opportunity to just have some food, fun and fellowship. (Did I mention food?)
